This is actually mingw-w64 although the guy calls it "mingw". Although the IDE was designed for the C++ language, there is some support for other languages, including Fortran and D. Code::Blocks supports multiple compilers, including GCC, MinGW, Digital Mars, Microsoft Visual C++, Borland C++, LLVM Clang, Watcom, LCC and the Intel C++ compiler. Note that once it is installed you do not need to invoke msys2 to use the compiler, it is possible to just use msys2 for the package manager. For C compiler: install XCode from the AppStore Download and install Code::Blocks for Mac Unix/Linus users: Install the GCC (GNU Compiler Collection) compiler E.g. The compilers setup (Microsoft Visual C++ 2017) is invalid, so Code::Blocks cannot find/run the compiler.
